A Note from our Founder: Healing within Community and Reclaiming Space

In a world that often demands conformity, at Grounded Wellbeing we are compassionate and trailblazing queer therapists on a mission to create a world of healing and acceptance.  I created this practice with the fundamental goal of cultivating a space where trans/queer people thrive, where trans joy exists, and is celebrated daily.  We are guided by a set of core values, a meaningful mission, an inspiring vision, and a profound purpose that makes our practice a brave space for those who are ready to experience transformative healing.

Our practice is dedicated to providing trauma-centered, holistic, affirming psychotherapy and wellness services for all individuals. With this, we intentionally create a welcoming space that centers the healing journey of queer, trans, and gender expansive folx, ultimately leading to the betterment of our entire community.

We are guided by, and embody, the following values:

  1. Vulnerability: We believe in welcoming our whole selves into this space. We are better when we hold space for each other and where we work from a place of authenticity. It is through vulnerability that we connect, heal, and grow.

  2. Reclaiming: We believe wellness isn't one- size-fits-all. Reclaiming wellness requires we take up space and do things differently. We reclaim our individual and collective power to make change that starts from within. At our practice, we celebrate the journey of reclaiming one's individual and collective power.

  3. Compassion: Compassion is at the heart of our practice. We give ourselves and each other continuous compassion. We prioritize flexibility and seeing each other's humanity.

  4. Community: We believe in the power of collective care. Our practice is built on the foundation of intentional and visible inclusion.

  5. Visionary Mindset: We are go-getters who dream big and get creative. We are dedicated to disrupting the systems that surround us and believe that the world can be a better place. We see the possibilities that exist and take grounded actions daily to bring this vision to reality.

  6. Anti-Oppressive: Our practice is dedicated to cultivating an inclusive environment that welcomes diverse perspectives and experiences. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating opportunities for everyone to heal and thrive together.

We understand that the healing journey is deeply personal and that it often intersects with unique experiences. That's why we're here, to provide a space that affirms, supports, and empowers you.

Our purpose is clear – to be a catalyst for change and healing. We exist to help you embrace your true self, to nurture your authenticity, and to provide a brave space for your journey.

If you feel inspired to join us, or just say hi, feel free to reach out.

Warmly,

Ryan
