Hello there, and thanks for checking me out!
If you’re here on this therapy page, you may feel like things are just too much and you need some help in shouldering the burden of all the things. If you are looking for help figuring out who you are and how you fit into the world, allow me to be a safe place and a resource for your self-construction. I view relationships and identity as DIY projects. My expertise in social work, mental health, and queer cultures can serve as tools or inspiration as you use your knowledge, creativity, and effort to craft something that works for you.
I primarily use narrative techniques and am guided by social constructionist and queer theories. In plain language, we will work to understand the stories we tell ourselves now and bring hope, joy, meaning, and ease into the next chapters. You can expect sessions with me to be as funky as you want – we may utilize music, art, role-play, geek culture, or movement as we explore and create. I also believe that therapy works best in community, so we can explore ways to expand the work of therapy beyond the four walls and fifty minutes of our session.
I specialize in working with emerging adults, LGBT folks, sexual or relational minorities like those who practice kink or non-monogamy, and neurodivergent folks, but I am a generalist in terms of presenting issues. If you would like to talk more about how we might work together, please click here to schedule your free 15-minute consultation.

I was born and raised in the South - sweet tea and Waffle House will always be close to my heart.
